Privacy Policy

Qiniso (qinisolabs) · last updated 19 June 2026

Qiniso builds small, open-source MCP servers. This policy explains what each tool does and does not do with your data. In plain terms: the tools run locally on your own machine and are built not to collect, store, or transmit your data. There is no analytics, telemetry, account, or tracking.

Local installs (npx and the one-click .mcpb extensions)

When you install a Qiniso tool locally, it runs as a process on your device. Your inputs (the IBAN, postcode, company number, name, code, etc. you pass to a tool) are processed on your machine and are not sent to Qiniso or to any third party — with the two specific, opt-in exceptions below. We receive nothing and store nothing.

Tool-specific data flows

companieswise. By default it uses bundled/locally-cached Companies House data, fully offline. Only if you choose to set a Companies House API key, the company number or name you look up and your key are sent directly to the official Companies House API (operated by Companies House / GOV.UK) to fetch live results — not to Qiniso. We never see your key or your queries. Companies House's own privacy terms then apply to that request.

sanctionwise. Screening runs locally against bundled data. On startup it may perform a one-way download of the latest UK Sanctions List dataset (public data) from our public GitHub Release; the names you screen are not transmitted anywhere.

floodwise, icdwise, bizdays, qiniso. Fully local. All reference data is bundled; no network calls and no data leaves your device.

Hosted endpoints (optional)

Some tools also offer a hosted endpoint (e.g. https://<tool>.qinisolabs.workers.dev/mcp) on Cloudflare Workers, as an alternative to installing locally. If you choose to use a hosted URL, the inputs you send are transmitted to that endpoint to compute the result. We do not log, store, or share those inputs beyond what is required to serve the single request, and standard Cloudflare infrastructure handling applies. Installing the tool locally avoids any network transmission entirely.

Data retention

Local tools retain nothing on our side (there is no "our side"). Hosted requests are processed in memory to return a result and are not persisted by us.

Children

These are developer tools and are not directed at children.
